MY MANTRA

THINGS THAT SEEM PAINFUL IN LIFE ARE ACTUALLY BLESSINGS

I believe we are meant to learn from these hard lessons and grow from them. I have had so much hardship and pain in my life, but something better for me always comes along. I only see improvement and more happiness. For example, if my relationship were to end, or if I left a job, I know I am only going to have better coming into my life. If my partner hurt me or left me, there is someone else better suited for me that the universe has in store for me.

MY HISTORY

My family migrated from a refugee camp in Thailand when I was 3. My parents are Cambodian and I grew up very poor, raised by a single mom. When I was young my mother moved us to Portland, Maine then eventually to Massachusetts when I was a teenager.

I’ve always been interested in what makes people successful. Although I had some success, I always felt like something was missing. I felt stuck. I read all the books, I went to the seminars, I attended leadership training, I just could never reach it.

I tried to become successful, I dreamt of launching a business so that I could provide a better life for my family. I searched for answers everywhere. I signed up for all the motivational success seminars I could find and even participated in a firewalk! I went to and I took all these classes, attended so many workshops! I read all of these books and for years for 20 years—I really wanted to be more successful, I was just in my own way.

I had all of tools but I just couldn't force myself to execute. I would call it "lazy-itis" "Why do I have "lazy-itis"?" I would ask myself. I had great intentions—I got myself planners, made my to-do lists, and I'd be right there with my cup of coffee ready to go... I just couldn't do it! I'd flop. That was until I discovered Hypnosis and Rapid Transformational Therapy. (RTT)

During my first RTT hypnosis session my hypnotherapist was able to tap into my subconscious mind within just 30 minutes to reveal the mental block keeping me from success. It was a deep-rooted belief that was established when I was 7 years old.
Two statements my mother made that I wasn’t even consciously aware that were greatly affecting me.

I started having success, reaching goals I set out to achieve! I was so amazed I couldn’t believe how much relief I felt just in that one realization from that one session. I immediately knew that this was my ticket, I wanted to learn how hypnotherapy and the subconscious worked so I could share this "magic" with others. I promptly enrolled in Rapid Transformational Therapy School.

I became certified Hypnotherapist at the HMI College of Hypnotherapy and studied Rapid Transformational Therapy at the Marisa Peer School of RTT. I specialize in Depression and Weight Loss which is bolstered by certificates for Nutrition and Healthy Living from Cornell University and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

I never thought in a million years I would be a hypnotherapist. After I experienced hypnotherapy and broke habits I had been trying to break for years, I realized hypnotherapy could be applied to help people overcome any challenge. From success blocks, to overcoming feelings of failure, lack of confidence, addictions, overeating, fear, and anxiety. All of those difficult issues really boil down to one thing, finding those 1-2 statements that your subconscious is still holding onto and driving your conscious behavior.
This is why I do what I do.

Today I have two beautiful daughters and grandchildren. I run my wellness practice out of Newburyport as well as collaborate with my dear friend Cat Blake on a matchmaking project, SWOON. I live with my loving boyfriend on the North Shore of Massachusetts where I enjoy quality time with my family, reading, and socializing with friends.
